ARCO is a holographic AR gaming robot that allows users to delve into an immersive game.
Once you remove the fitted remote control from ARCO, the robot, you have control over its movements, but there won’t be a game scene until you open the app. Once you open the app, and point your phone at ARCO an AR game scene will appear before your eyes with virtual characters.
You can also mount the phone onto the ARCO AR glasses so your gaming experience is even more immersive. The VR games include different elements such as battling and coding in different types of terrains.
ARCO’s AR system contains object recognition which allows your smart phone to track the location and position of ACRO. This is so the program knows if ARCO’s weapon hit the target. The plane detection technology allows you to place a 3D virtual environment onto any surface area. Collaboratively, ARCO uses Apple ARkit, Google ARCore and 3D object tracking technology to bring virtual games to life.
The controller has a built-in accelerometer, allowing it to have motion detection. Additionally, when designing ARCO, the creators tried to make it smaller in size so it could be played in spaces such as a table or living room floor with its all-terrain track-style wheels. ARCO also has 10 RGB LED lights, where each LED is programmable for different colors and flashing sequences.
ARCO is a way to bring life to your table or desk and become immersed in an entire different realm.
