Engineers, by definition, are designers and builders of machines, structures, systems, sensors, software, and more. Tinkers by nature, most engineers can create something unique from merely what they see in the world around them. They’re curious beings, with a strong desire to know how things are built, how they work, and how they, themselves, can potentially improve it.
I’d like to welcome you to our monthly video series, “Why I Became An Engineer,” in which engineers spanning the globe, will tell their story of why they became an engineer. Today I’m here with Nita Patel, Founder and Chair of the IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Conference, and Systems Engineering Director at L3 Technologies.
