Originally from Eastchester, New York, Michael graduated from Buffalo State College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literary English, and has been writing professionally since 2009. Prior to joining WDD, Michael spent several years working in the insurance industry, and has written for several hockey websites including Hendricks Hockey, The Hockey Guys, and is currently a writer and editor at Devils Army Blog. His work has been featured on many affluent independent hockey websites, such as Hockey Buzz and CBS Sportsline, and has been exposed to large audiences over the years. Outside of WDD, hockey, and writing, Michael enjoys outdoor recreations like fishing, hiking, and camping during his spare time.
