The new M12 connector version eliminates the vulnerability associated with RJ45 style connectors in industrial environments where cable flex and contaminants are a persistent issue. The rugged M12 connector option provides the SMD23E with a standard IP50 rating, plus an optional IP67 rating for superior protection against wash down environments such as food & beverage, industrial rinses, and other harsh conditions.
These cost-effective, integrated motion packages are ODVA conformance tested and interface with many PLCs including those from Rockwell Automation, Omron, and Schneider. All programming is performed by the same software used to configure the PLC/PAC, eliminating the need to learn any new software or programming language.
