KRYTAR announces a new directional coupler offering high performance over the ultra-broadband frequency range of 1.0 to 50.0 GHz, in a single, compact and lightweight package.
KRYTAR’s new directional coupler expands its family of superior performance products offering ultra-broadband coverage in compact packages. KRYTAR’s Model 101050013 is a multi-purpose, stripline design that exhibits excellent coupling over the 1.0 to 50.0 GHz frequency band. Targeting broadband electronic warfare (EW) systems and commercial wireless system applications, for example, KRYTAR’s directional coupler is extremely valuable in a wide array of applications including signal monitoring and measurement, antenna beam forming, cable distributed systems, and military and EMC testing environments. The compact size, makes this directional coupler the perfect solution in many space-restricted applications.
KRYTAR’s technological advances has extended the frequency range of this single unit from 1.0 to 50.0 GHz with Coupling (with respect to output) of 13 dB ±1.0 dB, Frequency Sensitivity of ±1.0 dB, and Directivity of >10 dB. The directional coupler exhibits Insertion Loss (including coupled power) of less than 1.6 dB across the frequency range of 1.0 to 26.5 GHz and less than 2.9 dB from 26.5 to 50 GHz. Maximum VSWR (any port) is 1.5 (1.0 to 26.5 GHz) and 1.8 (26.5 to 50 GHz), Input Power Rating is 20 W average and 3 kW peak. Model 101050013 is a compact package measuring 2.5 inches (L) x 0.50 inches (W) x 0.65 inches (H), weighs only 2.0 ounces and comes with 2.4-mm SMA female connectors. Operating temperature is -54° to 85° C. This directional stripline coupler can be manufactured to meet military specifications.
