Ampro Computers introduced its RuffSystem embedded computer that is based on the EBX SBC. The computer provides conductive cooling for the 1.4 GHz Intel Pentium M 738 processor to the NEMA 4x chassis. The 8" ×10" × 3" enclosure meets MIL-STD-810 shock and vibration over wide temperature and humidity environments. Optional IP 66/67 mil-grade connectors are offered. The power supply is also rugged, with a surge-protected vehicle-grade DC/DC converter designed for MIL-STD-704E, MIL-STD-1275B and SAE J1455 compliance. The system is expandable with a PC/104-Plus interface for up to two I/O cards, and a DIMM socket for up to 1 GByte of DDR 333 memory.
