Omron Electronic Components LLC announces its D6F-03 uni-directional MEMS mass flow sensor which uses a thermopile element that converts thermal energy into electrical energy. It is capable of measuring mass airflow up to 3 LPM with a ±5 percent full-scale repeatable accuracy. These sensors exhibit stable output performance across the entire scale. Through packaging that uses miniaturization techniques, these devices measure 16.8 mm × 8 mm × 36.6 mm, and they weigh 5.27g. The series operates on a supply voltage of 10.8V DC to 26.4V DC, while consuming 15 mA maximum. Applications including pick-and-place systems, leak detection, spectroscopy, mass flow controllers, test equipment and fuel cells.
