LDO Regulators Consume Low Current

Analog ADP120Coming in a 5-lead TSOT package, Analog Devices’ ADP120, ADP121 and ADP130 linear LDO regulators exhibit supply currents of <350 mA to mixed-signal ICs while consuming from 11 µA to 24 µA of quiescent current. The components operate at output voltages as low as 1.2 V with a 1 µF ceramic output capacitor. The ADP120 and ADP121 offer 60 dB PSR at 10 kHz, noise figures of 40 uV rms, dropout voltage of 60 mV for 100 mA of current load, and a 0.86 mm² WLCSP package option. The ADP130 uses a dual-supply architecture for a dropout voltage of 17 mV, biasing from a higher input supply, and load current sourcing from a lower input supply. Applications include portable audio players, digital still cameras, handheld games and personal navigation systems. Pricing is $0.26, $0.27, and $0.33, respectively, in 1,000 quantities.
