Using a programmable and configurable Ethernet controller, GE Fanuc’s DSC-2300 Series signal conditioners operate in jet and rocket engine testing, vibration testing, acoustic chamber monitoring and wind tunnel testing applications. The 3U, 16-slot rack-mountable chassis-packaged devices process the input from a range of sensors for support of up to 32 sensor channels with 2 channels per slot. The conditioners include 4 configurable and programmable plug-in signal conditioning modules for gain, filter, cut-off frequencies, and calibration for static strain applications. The components come with a 2-channel voltage excitation bridge amplifier, support for charge/ICP and voltage inputs, 2 programmable levels of over-range detection, reference bus input (oscillator, DAC, short, open or external input), channel output monitor and 2 buffered analog outputs. The product’s Windows-based software has an API, demo applications and GUI.
