The Palmer Wahl Instrumentation Group introduces its Wahl RM116 micro-ohmmeter that is a low resistance tester for harsh conditions in maintenance departments, workshops and field use, performing measurements on inductive and non-inductive resistances with a DC current. Its large interactive display informs the operator in real time about the type of measurement, range, calculation conditions (resistance calculated according to a reference temperature), thresholds status and values. Features include four measurement wires for accuracy, automatic measurement in non-inductive resistance mode and automatic triggering when continuity is established between the two points. Resistance is automatically calculated by the instrument, taking into account measurement value, ambient temperature, metal temperature coefficient and reference temperature. A single operator can perform measurements.
