Fujitsu Components America expanded its resistive touch-panel offering with the introduction of a 4.3¨ (diagonal) film-glass panel for both finger and stylus-based applications. The four-wire device fits Sharp and NEC 4.3¨ LCDs commonly used in handheld applications including popular game devices, and fixed applications suitable for small LCD screens. Featuring 86 percent transmissivity for viewing in high ambient light conditions, the design incorporates a double-layer PET film with 5 percent haze anti-glare hardcoat for durability  in both finger and stylus input modes. The company’s anti-smudge feature resists fingerprint adherence. The suggested resale price is $11.50 each in 1,000-piece quantities.
