Construction contractor Primoris Services Corp. said Thursday that it received new contracts for pipeline projects in California, Pennsylvania and Wyoming that are expected to be worth a combined $56.5 million.
The underground division of Primoris' ARB Inc. subsidiary received contracts worth about $44.5 million, including four contracts worth a combined $27 million related to pipeline and horizontal directional drilling work in southern California.
The division also received an $11.5 million contract for pipeline replacement and other work in northern California, Primoris said.
The underground division will also do terminal modification work at California's Travis Air Force Base under separate contracts worth about $6 million. Each of those projects is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2011 and be finished by the second quarter of 2012.
Primoris' Rockford Corp. and Alaska Continental Pipeline subsidiaries received about $12 million of new contracts for projects involving the relocation of pipelines in Northern California, Pennsylvania and Wyoming. Work on these projects began in August and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, the company said.
In afternoon trading, Primoris shares fell 7 cents to $11.03.
