Information technology firm CGI Group Inc. (TSX:GIB.A) said Tuesday it has won a $2.2-million contract to provide management software to Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Under the "multi-year" deal, Montreal-based CGI will provide enterprise content management and workflow automation software as well as ongoing software maintenance and support.
CGI software is used to manage digital records and patient information.
Sunnybrook is one of Canada's largest health-care systems, with three hospital and health-care campuses with 10,000 staff, physicians and volunteers serving more than one million patients a year.
Shares in CGI were down three cents at $15.07 in morning trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
