One of the best things about the latest social tools on the Web is that it's so easy to share information that we find useful, interesting, or entertaining. My friends and the people I follow in social media generally have interests that are similar to mine, so I like it when they share links that to content that interests them.

If you find something here on the blog [1] or on the Energy Savers Web site [2] that you find useful or interesting, we hope you'll share it with others. There are a few ways you can do that:

  • On the blog, click the links at the bottom of each entry (or RSS feed) to e-mail the article or share in places like Twitter, Digg, and Facebook
  • Become a fan or "like" (as Facebook now says) the Energy Savers Facebook page [3]. Your friends will see that you like the page, and it will also be easy for you to follow and share our wall posts.
  • As you browse the Energy Savers Web site and find pages that are useful, click the little "Share" button at the top of each page to e-mail or share the page on social media. Check out the Home Energy Assessments [4] page to see what I mean (and if you like the video on that page, share it!).
  • Finally, if you manage a site or blog, post the Energy Savers blog widget and share the latest blog entries with your readers. EERE also has a widget with weekly energy saving tips, as well as widgets [5] with EERE news headlines and financial opportunities, if those are more up your readers' alley. The blog widget is below, and visit our widgets [5] page for others:

Remember, Energy Savers is a government resource, and it's here for everyone's benefit. If you find Energy Savers useful, help out your friends and share it with them!
