The Forum also holds an annual international technical conference and product exposition that focuses on technologies, standards and business activities. Throughout the year, e-mail communications and conference calls give members opportunities to participate in working group activities. The Forum also welcomes assistance and comments from nonmembers.
Members of the SDR Forum have access to technical documents, industry reports and market surveys, and they can influence the development of SDR technologies. And the Forum encourages members to participate in committees and workgroups that develop requirements and specifications and propose regulations and educate regulatory bodies. Members also gain advanced insight into emerging technologies and they have opportunities to talk with and collaborate with industry colleagues.
