fuboTV says it has made its most significant product upgrade to date with the launch of its newly designed Apple TV app.
The new version of its tvOS app features an upgraded DVR with up to 30 hours of personal storage and an option to add up to 500 hours for an extra fee. Users can record live games, movies, and shows on Apple TV and watch DVR recordings made on other devices, according to the company.
There’s also a Look Back feature, where users can replay shows that aired in the last 72 hours.
The company also upgraded its video control, adding in the ability to jump 15 seconds back or ahead in a program with one click.
fuboTV says the new user interface has been redesigned to improve usability and esthetics. The new design is now available on Apple TV and will be rolled out to other devices later this year, the company indicates.
At the same time, the sports-focused streaming service has officially come out of beta on devices including Apple TV, iOS, Android devices, and Chromecast.
In June, fuboTV raised $55 million in a Series C round of funding. To date, the company has raised a total of $75.6 million.
