fuboTV continues to strengthen its sports-first offering, with MSG Networks signing up as the OTT service’s latest addition.
As this year’s NBA and NHL regular seasons get underway, MSG Networks’ regional sports networks, MSG and MSG+, will be available to New York State and New York City metro subscribers of fuboTV’s base package, Fubo Premier.
Subscribers in the region will gain access to exclusive live coverage of the following 10 New York-area pro sports team: The New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils, Buffalo Sabres, New York Liberty, New York Red Bulls, and the Westchester Knicks.
Together the networks annually air about 500 live professional games, along with other sporting events and original programing.
“MSG Networks is pleased to extend our OTT network of partners with fuboTV, making MSG, MSG+, and MSG Go available to fuboTV’s subscribers throughout MSG Networks’ footprint,” Adam Levine, EVP of distribution and business affairs at MSG Networks, comments. “MSG Networks’ lineup of Emmy award-winning programming, including our unparalleled coverage of live, local professional sporting events, will be available to our fans in more ways than ever.”
New subscribers in New York can get the Fubo Premier package, including MSG Networks’ sports programming as well as more than 65 additional channels, for an introductory price of $19.99 for the first two months, and just under $50 after the promotional period.
Users will also be able to access MSG Networks’ line up via the MSG GO website and mobile app using fuboTV login credentials.
“New York fans are passionate about their favorite teams, and fuboTV will make it easier than ever to catch every game on MSG and MSG+, just in time for the new NBA and NHL seasons,” Ben Grad, fuboTV head of North American content strategy & acquisition, notes. “With MSG Networks on Fubo Premier, fans will be able to follow their teams – at home or on the go, across devices and screens.”
In August fuboTV added Pac-12 networks and Fox College Sports to its OTT service.
