CenturyLink has introduced an integrated WiFi offering for small- to medium-sized businesses that combines advanced network capabilities with Cisco Meraki’s cloud-managed wireless technologies.
Dubbed CenturyLink Business WiFi, the solution features real-time monitoring and analytics to help businesses better connect with their customer base.
“This solution provides an economical option for businesses with limited IT resources to harness the power of their WiFi networks to more effectively engage with their customers and employees,” Vernon Irvin, SVP of CenturyLink, commented. “We remain committed to empowering small- and medium-size businesses by helping them securely connect to the power of the digital world.”
Along with network transport, CenturyLink says it also provides Cisco Meraki access points, including eight access points per location for up to five locations, and software licenses. Customers also have access to Meraki’s cloud-based dashboard, where they can view networks and configure SSID authentication, monitor wireless health and connectivity, and leverage client- and location-based analytics.
“At Cisco Meraki, our mission is to deliver technology that is easy to deploy and manage. And nowhere is IT simplicity more important than with smaller businesses,” Todd Nightingale, SVP and general manager at Cisco Meraki, stated. “By teaming with CenturyLink, we’re removing complexity for small businesses and allowing them to focus on running their business.”
The bundled offering is available to businesses with up to 250 employees.
