CenturyLink has introduced its new broadband offer, dubbed Price For Life, which delivers high-speed internet with no contract and a monthly bill that stays the same.
The latest plan is offered in three speed and price tiers: 25 Mbps at $45 per month, 40 Mbps at $55 per month, or 1 Gbps for $85 per month. Customers are eligible as long as they maintain the same broadband plan and remain at the same address. All speed tiers may not be available in all areas, the company indicated.
“CenturyLink is committed to improving the lives of our customers by connecting them to the power of the digital world; that’s why we’re investing in new broadband technology and offering customers a fair and straightforward monthly rate for high-speed internet service,” Maxine Moreau, CenturyLink president of consumer markets, comments. “Our deployment of faster broadband speeds in big cities as well as small towns helps CenturyLink connect its customers to the things that matter most to them.”
CenturyLink has been rolling out faster internet speeds to more than 1 million homes and small business this year, and the company indicated its on track to deploy faster speeds to almost 2 million more by the end of the year.
Half of those residential and business customers will reportedly have access to internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps and higher.
