TOKYO, Japan — April 15, 2013 — SEMI today announced a Call for Papers for the SEMI Technology Symposium 2013 (STS 2013) at SEMICON Japan 2013, which takes place December 4-6 at the Makuhari Messse in Chiba, Japan. Technical presentation abstracts are due June 7, 2013.
STS 2013 will feature 40 hours of technical sessions and presentations focused on critical industry topics shaping design and manufacturing of semiconductors, MEMS (Micro-electromechanical Systems), and other related technologies.
Presentations must be original, non-commercial and non-published works, and must focus on one of the one of following areas: Lithography, Design for Manufacturing/Mask, Advanced Device Technology/Process, Testing. Submissions are welcome from all persons directly or indirectly involved in the semiconductor industry, including IC manufacturers, academic and research institutes, equipment manufacturers and materials suppliers.
The abstract (approximately 150 words) and speaker biography (about 100 words) are due June 7, 2013 by e-mail to email@example.com. Abstracts must clearly the session title, detail the nature, scope, content, organization, key points and significance of the proposed paper.
