Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop says Apple founder Steve Jobs will be remembered for his fondness for simplicity and elegance.
The head of the Finnish-based company tweeted on Thursday that "Steve's passion for simplicity and elegance leaves a legacy that will endure." He said the thoughts of all at the Finland-based cellphone maker are with Job's friends and family.
Jobs died in the U.S. on Wednesday. He was 56.
Nokia Corp., once the world's dominant cellphone maker, has been overtaken by its chief rival Apple Inc. whose iPhones sold more than all Nokia smartphone models during the second quarter.
