Many people don’t realize that America II Electronics has been around for over 22 years serving the OEM and EMS community. Over that time, the company has made significant investments to ensure the security of the supply chain. America II is ISO 9001 and ANSI S20.20 certified, CCAP-101 certified in counterfeit avoidance and detection, a member of IDEA and SMTA, and it employs a team of Six Sigma Green Belt Certified Component Engineers, a NARTE certified ESD technician and 28 IDEA-ICE 3000 certified quality inspectors. In addition, the company has a third-party test facility located within its distribution facility to ensure that all testing is both objective and independent of their own.
So what does all this mean? America II has a total commitment to quality and wants to share its knowledge with its OEM and EMS customers.
In October, America II is kicking off the Quality Symposium. This new regional road show will make its first stop in Los Angeles, California on October 4. It will then stop in San Jose on October 6. Additional cities and dates will be added shortly.
Quality issues are forcing many companies to re-evaluate their business practices. The objective of the Quality Symposium is to educate and inform OEM and EMS companies on the latest technology and trends in the area of quality assurance. Remember, you’re not alone. Lots of companies are facing similar challenges and the Quality Symposium will provide valuable advice, best practices, peer-to-peer networking, and exclusive engagement with industry experts.
