SRA International Inc., a technology consultancy for the U.S. government, said Monday that it received a $72.9 million contract from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to continue to work on the agency's Firebird computer system's infrastructure.

The contract includes a five-year base period with five, one-year options. Under the contract, SRA said it will integrate, test and implement evolving capabilities, as well as new and updated technologies, while maintaining system security, availability and reliability.

SRA shares rose 2 cents to $31.14 in midday trading.
