Richardson RFPD announced today its Energy Management team will be showcasing their engineered assembly capabilities at PCIM Asia 2011, June 21-23 in Shanghai, China. The company’s team of experts focused on energy technology and power conversion will also be presenting its design engineering resources for power electronics, renewable energy, power quality, and energy management.
The Richardson RFPD exhibit in Shanghai will feature an EV inverter to demonstrate the company’s distinct capabilities for designing and building high power (>1kW) inverter assemblies and custom modules using power semiconductors and passive components from the industry’s leading manufacturers.
Richardson RFPD leverages its relationships with such manufacturers as Semikron (IGBTs/Modules), Vincotech (IGBTs/Modules), Maxwell (Ultracapacitors), Cornell Dubilier (Electrolytic/Film Capacitors) and Tamura (Current Transducers) to provide customers with the best component alternatives from a variety of sources. The company also works closely with customers to create turn-key power inverter assemblies for nearly any application, as well as standard, custom, build-to-print, and concept-to-production engineered assemblies.
In an effort to assist customers struggling with delayed production due to long lead times on aluminum electrolytic and film capacitors, the Richardson RFPD team at PCIM Asia 2011 will also be featuring popular alternatives from manufacturers Cornell Dubilier, Kendeil S.r.l. and Spectrum Advanced Specialty Products. Understanding the critical capacitance, RMS current and voltage values required by the renewable energy and industrial power conversion markets, Richardson RFPD stocks an extensive inventory of product and has contracted with these manufacturers to provide capacitors with lead times as short as 6-8 weeks for items not currently in stock.
Visitors to the Richardson RFPD PCIM Asia exhibit (Booth A108-A111, Hall Number 1) can discuss their requirements for components, designs and assemblies, or request a technical consultation for their green technology and renewable energy design challenges.
