Computer Sciences Corp. said Wednesday it received contract modifications valued at $118 million from the Army to boost simulator-based flight and aviation training.

The Falls Church, Va., company will provide four virtual simulator flight training devices and upgrade some existing devices with motion mechanisms for the Army's Aviation Center of Excellence.

The devices will be housed in Daleville, Ala., and will help the Army increase student pilot capacity by 25 percent.

CSC shares rose 3 cents to $45.88 in midday trading Wednesday.
