Electronics retailer Best Buy Co. Inc. says 400 of its stores will open at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday to sell "Halo: Reach," which it called one of the biggest video game premieres of 2010.

Customers will receive a $20 gift card with each purchase of the game through Saturday.

Fans of the first-person shooting game were allowed to start lining up early Monday in New York for a marquee event at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, where they could meet the game's creators and play it for the first time.

Best Buy shares were up 75 cents, or 2.2 percent, at $34.63 in late afternoon trading Monday.
