The Defense Department said Monday it awarded ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. a contract modification worth $17.1 million.
The modification was to a Navy contract for the procurement of warfare analysis, modeling and simulation software development and analytic program support for the Naval Air Systems Command's Warfare Analysis and Integration Department.
Work will be performed in Patuxent River and Lexington Park, Md., and is expected to be completed in June 2011, the Defense Department said.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
ManTech Systems Engineering Corp., is a subsidiary of ManTech International Corp.
Shares in ManTech International added 30 cents to close at $46.50.
