Information management software provider Tyler Technologies Inc. said Tuesday the education office of one of the largest counties in California is licensing Tyler's software and services.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Contra Costa Country Office of Education agreed to use Tyler's Munis Enterprise Resource Planning product, which includes software licenses, professional services, and maintenance and support. They will use the software to manage finances, business processes and employees.
The office of education services 15 school districts in San Francisco Bay-area Contra Costa County, which is home to more than a million people. The school districts have 166,000 students from kindergarten to 12th grade, Tyler said.
Shares of Tyler Technologies fell 6 cents to $19 in morning trading.
