Blood collection and processing systems maker Haemonetics Inc. said Thursday it completed the $60 million tender offer for Global Med Technologies Inc.
The company said last month that it would buy the health information technology company for $1.22 per share, and its preferred stock at about $1,694 each.
Haemonetics has tendered 100 percent of the Global Med's preferred stock and 82 percent of outstanding common stock.
The company will provide a subsequent offering period which will expire on March 31, unless extended. It will complete the buyout after the subsequent offering period expires.
