IBM Corp. said Tuesday it has signed a 10-year, $83 million outsourcing deal with Digicable, a cable and broadband distribution company in India.

As part of the agreement, IBM will provide technology support services to help Digicable manage its business and boost subscriber revenue by adding new services such as video on demand, Internet service on TVs and gaming.

Digicable will also provide its customers with access to more channels with better picture quality and sound, IBM said.
