Access Media 3 (AM3) – a midwestern provider of triple-play media services to multi-tenant residential, commercial and multi-use properties – has acquired SkyPix.

SkyPix delivers cable TV, high-speed Internet and voice services to apartments, condos and town homes in the Twin Cities.

Since its re-launch in January 2007, Access Media 3 said it has seen its Midwest operations grow from 3,000 subscribers to nearly 12,000 in 17 months. “We are ready to make the same type of impact in Minneapolis as we are making in Chicago,” said Scott Rediger, CEO of Access Media 3.

Headquartered in Willowbrook, Ill., Access Media 3 provides satellite TV, high-speed Internet and telephony services in the Midwest.

Last week, the company acquired the operating assets and contracts of inVision Networks of Burr Ridge, Ill. (story here).
