Fluke Networks announced a partnership with CommScope to incorporate the latter’s Systimax link loss calculator into its optical loss test set to simplify certification of high performance data center networks.
The company said project managers and technicians will have the ability to accurately calculate and predict the total link loss performance and certify ultra-low-loss singlemode and high bandwidth multimode fiber optic network projects.
“Our research has shown that eliminating errors in the certification process leads to significant savings for cabling contractors,” Eric Conley, VP and general manager of Fluke Networks, said in a statement. “By building the calculator into Versiv and LinkWare Live, customers can reduce complexity and ensure that certification is done right the first time.”
