Calling all engineers. I bet you think you’re pretty smart (and I’d hope that you are!). But most Americans also think they’re pretty smart. And, well, we know that’s not entirely true. At least according to the results of this science knowledge quiz, the above statement is true.
Pew Research Center has put together a quiz, testing your general knowledge of science facts and applications of scientific principles. Some principles go back to your middle school science days, like questions about layers of the earth, but other questions could arguably be considered for Jeopardy (luckily this quiz identifies the people in photos, unlike the Daily Double).
So, engineers, I invite you to test your science smarts. When you finish, you can compare your scores with the rest of America (there’s a longer report that details demographics) and see how you rank.
