Only 26 cars have ever sold at auction for more than ten million dollars (19 of them being Ferraris).
This week, another Ferrari joined that ten million dollar club.
A 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta sold for $11,439,774 (£7,392,000) at H&H Classic Auctions in the UK.
Only 167 of this Ferrari model were ever made. And, at the time, the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta was actually the fastest 3.0-liter GT racing car on the market.
Although it was a collectible, the Ferrari didn’t just sit parked for all of those years. The owner covered some 60,000 miles in it, some of which were driven to the Ferrari 50th Anniversary celebration in Maranello, Italy. (The dude’s a serious Ferrari fan.) Now, feast your eyes below.
