AC/DC power supplies designed for space-critical, board-level applications

Available now from MicroPower Direct, the MPL-03SE series is a family of miniature, safety approved, 3W AC/DC power supplies. Designed specifically for space-critical, board-level applications, these power modules are packaged in a space saving single-in-line (SIP) package. As part of our "Cost Cutter" product series, they are offered at very low cost.

Five standard models operate from a universal input of 85 to 264 VAC; providing regulated single outputs of 5, 9, 12, 15, or 24 VDC. They may also be used in high voltage DC/DC applications with an input of 100 to 400 VDC. Standard features include tight line/load regulation, continuous short circuit protection, input/output isolation of 3,000 VAC and over temperature protection.

The MPL-03SE has a Class II input. This means it can be used without an earth ground connection, an advantage for remote or portable equipment that is often used in applications where a reliable ground may not be available. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPL-03SE series is greater than 300 khours. The series is RoHS compliant.

The MPL-03SE series is packaged in an ultra-miniature SIP package. Each model is specified for operation over the wide industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (ambient). The pin-out is industry standard.
