CTS Corporation announced the release of a new quartz crystal platform, Model 445. This crystal product is housed in a ceramic 2-pad surface mount package, 5.0mm x 3.2mm, with glass seal cover. This popular, low cost package format is suitable for a wide range of commercial applications that include notebooks, computer peripherals, audio visual, Bluetooth and USB interfaces, PDAs and automotive electronics.

Starting with a 12MHz frequency, the Model 445 devices have standard 5.0mm x 3.2mm glass seal package, with a fundamental crystal design. The frequency range is 10-50 MHz, with standard frequency tolerance of + 20 ppm. Additional features include standard frequency stability of + 30 ppm and operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The Model 445 products are RoHS 5/6 compliant with lead-free terminations. It is shipped in standard tape and reel packaging.
