Timer IC Operates From Low Supply Voltages and Touts Simple Programming

Touchstone Semiconductor announced the TS3002 silicon timer. Using 1 µA supply current, this timer IC operates from supply voltages down to 1 V. The TS3002 is asserted to be simple to program as well as accurate. The timer frequency is set with one resistor and one capacitor. Frequency out period drift is a low 0.044 percent/°C. Specifications are 1 µA at 25 kHz; 0.9-V to 1.8-V supply voltage operation; and PWMOUT duty cycle range of 12 to 90 percent.
