SII's lithium-ion rechargeable battery protection ICs protect lithium-ion battery packs from overcharge, over-discharge and over-current. High-accuracy voltage detectors and delay circuits are included.
The S-8205A/B and S-8211E Series feature a high accuracy voltage detection circuit and a delay circuit, making it possible for users to monitor the status of a 1 cell (S-8211E) or 4/5 (S-8205A/B) cell lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack. Suitable for secondary protection of lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, the S-8215A Series can accommodate series connection of
4 or 5 cells.
