Working in facilities of ~2,500 square feet or less,  POWERVAR’s Local Area Power Center (LAPC) 3.0 delivers 3 kVA of power (24 A at 120 VAC). The product combines a 3- kVA on-line sine wave UPS with a wall-mounted power interface panel, and powers from a single 30-A circuit. Up to four branch circuits, each with individual 15-A breakers, distribute clean uninterruptible power throughout the facility to individual peripherals, such as POS terminals, telephone systems, security systems, LAN peripherals, and pump controls. The power interface panel conditions AC power via a high-energy surge diverter, a power line noise filter and an isolation transformer, and includes a manual make-before-break bypass switch. When commercial power is lost, the device provides a continuous flow of clean, conditioned power to all connected peripherals for up to five minutes. The unit is suitable for retail-type environments.
