Aimtec added to its low output power products with the AM1/4S-Z series of single output, DC/DC converters in SIP4 packages of .46" x .38" x .24". The devices have I/O isolation of up to 3000V DC, output currents up to 75.7mA, and efficiency rates up to 72 percent. Portable power management applications are their ideal use. There are 48 models with input values of 5, 12, and 24V DC and output values ranging from 3.3V DC to 24V DC. Encapsulated internal SMD construction with toroidal magnetics makes the converters light weight (1.5 g) that operate at temperatures of -40°C to +85°C with no derating, heatsink, or external components required. The materials are RoHS-compliant materials and samples are available.
