Synergistic Technology Solutions (STS) introduced a family of board mount AC/DC converter that provides regulated and fault-protected power up to 5W. The BlueCube power module family, is available in two series, the LX3i (3W) and LX5i (5W). They offer an immediate drop in AC/DC solution with a footprint of (1.8" × 0.92") and require no additional external components. All BlueCube modules operate over a wide input voltage range (85V to 265V AC) and offer outputs of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 24V DC. They meet worldwide energy efficiency specifications including Energy Star and California’s CEC standard for external power supplies. Pricing for the 3W rated LX3i modules is $4.28 each in 10,000-piece quantities, and the 5W rated LX5i modules is $4.93 each in the same quantity.
