ec912be261-webThe ConnectCore Wi-MX51, from Digi International, is purportedly the industry’s first wireless enabled core module to offer 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. It is also the first based on Freescale’s new high-performance i.MX51 processor, and first to support Microsoft’s new Windows CE 6.0 R3. The module enables wired and Wi-Fi networking for low power embedded applications. It is a 32-bit module featuring an ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 600 MHz and 800 MHz processor speeds. It features 10/100 MBit Ethernet networking and pre-certification eliminates the need to certify wireless products. Development kits will be available shortly for $795.
