Current-mode step-up converter offers adjustable output voltage up to 27V

Advanced Power Electronics Corp. (San Jose, CA) is introducing a new current mode step up converter for small, low power applications. The input voltage of the APE1913-3 converter can range from 2.6V to 5.5V, while the output voltage can be adjusted up to 27V. Features include:

  • Nominal operating frequency of 1.2MHz.
  • Internal soft-start.
  • Protection functions such as under-voltage lockout, current limit, and thermal shutdown.
  • A RoHS-compliant and halogen-free TSOT-23-5 package.
