Qantek Technology USA has introduced their new CMOS Clock Oscillator, which features an ultra-miniature surface mount footprint of 2.0 x 1.6 mm, very low mass and power requirements. The QC1 was specifically designed for portable applications, including SD cards, Bluetooth, WiFi, portable hard drives, media players, digital cameras, and other applications requiring high-density component architecture with low battery power requirements.
The QC1 offers superior functionality, with a low profile height of 0.6 mm max. The clock offers frequency stabilities from 25 PPM to 100 PPM over 0 to 70 C or an optional -40 to +85C. The QC1 is also available for the automotive temperature range of -40 to +125C. The frequency range is 4 to 50 MHz, with typical long-term aging of 3 PPM per year. The power consumption ranges from 3 mA to 8 mA depending upon voltage and frequency. The QC1 offers three voltage options of 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.8V. The output load is 15 pF over all parameters. Standard output symmetry is 40/60 percent. The QC1 complies with all RoHS directives.
