Solid-state power relay rated for up to 5A continuous load current

Thu, 10/24/2013 - 4:27pm

LISTED UNDER:

The CPC1968 is a single-pole normally open (1-Form-A) solid-state power relay rated for up to 5A continuous load current with a 5°C/W heat sink. The output is constructed with MOSFET switches and photovoltaic die, while the input utilizes a highly efficient GaAIAs infrared LED to provide the optically coupled control. The IXYS pioneered ISOPLUS-264 package offers not only 2500Vrms isolation, but also very low thermal resistance (0.3 °C/W). Along with its high load current handling capability, this relay is suitable for a variety of high-performance switching applications.

CPC1968
• Unique ISOPLUS-264 package provides a very low thermal resistance (0.3 °C/W).
• Offers up to ±25Ap peak load current with a heat sink (5°C/W).
• Operates from 2A to 5A continuous load current. Competition can only handle at maximum 1A (Panasonic).
• Very low off-state leakage current of 1 μA, 10 times lower than competitor devices (Panasonic).
• High storage temperate range from -40 to 125°C.
• Ability to control very small analog signals. Ideal for high-performance switching applications.
