Maxwell v12 is electromagnetic field simulation software used for the design and analysis of 3D/2D structures, such as motors, actuators, transformers and other electric and electromechanical devices common to automotive, military/aerospace and industrial systems. RMxprt v12 is a specialized software program dedicated to the design of electric machines.

Curtiss-Wright Controls announced its CHAMP-AV6 VPX DSP engine which delivers a sustained intercard data rate of 8.68 GB/s, a 16× improvement over the quad PowerPC-VME-based DSP engine. The device uses the standard IPC communications library, highlighting the inherently low overhead of both SRIO and the IPC library, which together were able to deliver approximately 92 percent of the “wire speed” of the SRIO links. Features include four Freescale 8641 single/dual-core processors, backplane connectors capable of handling signaling speeds in excess of 6.25 Gbits/sec, and 1.0" pitch option defined by the VPX-REDI standard (VITA 48) that enables the use of several enhanced mechanical design elements to achieve higher power dissipation.
Connect One announced the IIEVB-PIC-2128-110/220 reference design and a corresponding evaluation board that bring together the 16-bit MCU for application control and the CO2128 iChip for secure, reliable TCP/IP connectivity to LAN and GPRS networks. Using the evaluation board, developers can quickly and easily develop an IP-enabled embedded system where the application resides on the PIC24 MCU and the networking and security are provided by the CO2128 iChip.
Enabling switching PCIe 2.0 data rates at 5.0Gbps and operating at 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V, the MAX4888A and MAX4889A dual, passive PCIe switches allow multiple PCIe graphics cards to be used in PCs and servers.
