Lithium Coin Cell Battery in Four Configurations

Panasonic extended the configurations for its high capacity coin cell in its poly-carbonmonofluoride, high-temperature (BR) lithium battery product line. The BR2477A uses polymer materials and construction techniques to provide high temperature tolerance, making it suitable for applications requiring high capacity in harsh environments. The cells are available in four different tab configurations: 2-pin horizontal, 3-pin horizontal, vertical and flat mount.

0603 Metal Strip Resistor Achieves 0.2W Power Rating

Delivering up to twice the power of a standard WSL0603-type part, an 0603-sized SMT metal strip power resistor from Vishay Dale is presented as the first of its size to provide a 0.2W power rating. Master Bond introduced its LTX-117G low cost, electrically conductive, water-based adhesive, sealant and coating. It is a one-part, UV stable latex adhesive where the electrical conductivity is achieved by the incorporation of non-metallic graphite filler. This polymer system dries by water evaporation at ambient temperatures to provide cost effective coatings with controlled electrical properties, including use in ESD anti-static systems. Contact Connectors in Straight Receptacle Versions

FCI enlarged its high density Compact D series to 62 contact connectors in straight receptacle versions to meet the need for higher density connectors and as a complement to its press-fit D-sub range in 78 contacts. Provided with press-fit terminations, this connector helps to avoid the cost and time of an additional wave solder process. It is compatible with any PCB thickness starting from 1.6 mm, an advantage for thick backplanes.
