The modules operate from 9V DC to 30V DC, they are powered by terminal block or DC jack, and they are available with host connection options such as Ethernet, USB, RS-485 and RS-232.

Multi-Functional PP Meters

October 31, 2007 9:31 am | Comments

Sartorius Mechatronics Corp. optimized its professional meters which are equipped with four analytical PP meter models with stable measuring results, secure data management and time-savings. The basic PP-15 meter measures pH and mV, ORP (redox) and temperature, while the PP-20 model also uses a dual-channel to include simultaneous measurement of conductivity, salinity, NaCl content or total dissolved solids (TDS) during pH/mV measurements.

Meter for Semiconductor Parametric Analysis and Testing

October 31, 2007 7:42 am | Keithley Instruments | Comments

Keithley Instruments, Inc. announced its models 2635 and 2636 SourceMeter instruments that do parametric analysis at resolutions of 1fa (10A to 15A) which is required for many semiconductor, optoelectronic and nanotechnology devices. With their Test Script Processor (TSP) and TSP-Link intercommunications bus, these instruments enable engineers to create fast test systems that are suitable for research, characterization, wafer sort, reliability and production monitoring.

Temperature Probe for Medical Applications

October 31, 2007 7:26 am | Comments

Measurement Specialties introduced its robust MEAS 400 series autoclavable temperature probe for use in clinical environments. This probe allows steam autoclave sterilization up to 134°C (273°F) for a maximum of 20 minutes. The product uses a stable pressed ceramic (thermistor) sensing element, and it has a molded transition between a 10' long C-Flex cable and a two-pin plug with molded Santoprene housing, ensuring the reliability of the probe after the autoclave process.

Application-Specific Temperature Sensors

October 31, 2007 7:23 am | Stmicroelectronics | Comments

STMicroelectronics announced two application-specific digital temperature-sensor chips that are compliant with the JEDEC JC42.4 specification. They are intended for monitoring the temperature of the DIMMs used in personal computers. The model STTS424 is a stand-alone digital temperature sensor, while the STTS424E02 integrates the temperature sensor with a 2 Kbit serial presence detect EEPROM that is used on DIMMs to store timing parameters and other information about the module.

Sensors Brochure

October 31, 2007 7:16 am | Comments

PCB Piezotronics announced its four-page, full-color brochure that is entitled, “Sensors for Power Generation and Reciprocating Equipment Monitoring.” It provides an overview of sensors to address the requirements of the power generation, reciprocating equipment and oil, gas and petrochemical equipment industries.

Rodless Platform Includes Electric Actuators

October 31, 2007 7:11 am | Comments

Tolomatic,Inc. introduced its MX product platform with MXE electric actuators that offer two different bearing options in a family of modular actuator bodies. All models and sizes are built-to-order. Features include durable bearings that reduce friction and extend actuator life in high load and moment applications, durable stainless steel bands that are magnetically retained to protect internal components from contamination, increasing uptime and reducing maintenance.

High Frequency Industrial Accelerometer

October 31, 2007 7:06 am | Comments

IMI Sensors Division announced its model 621B40 high-frequency industrial ICP accelerometer that works with online or portable monitoring systems to provide effective vibration monitoring. It operates to 30k Hz even with a magnet, and it captures high frequency gear mesh faults that are often missed during routine route-based measurements.
