Pentek, Inc. releases its Model 6890 2.2 GHz clock, synch and gate distribution board for synchronizing multiple Pentek I/O modules. It facilitates sampling and timing for a range of multi-channel, high-speed data-acquisition, DSP and software-radio applications. Configured as a 6U VME board, the board synchronizes up to eight modules, each receiving a common clock up to 2.2 GHz along with timing signals for synchronizing, triggering and gating functions.

Toshiba Corp. launches of a 4 GB microSDHC card, expanded its line of small-format, high-speed, high-capacity memory cards for mobile phone applications. This card meets SD memory card standard Ver. 2.003, the standard for high density SD products with a capacity of over 2 GB. It is designed for use in dedicated microSDHC slots, but it can also be used in standard SDHC card slots in an adapter.

FISO Technologies introduced a new generation of optical-fiber signal conditioner modules, combined with a new Evolution table-top platform. The FPI-HR signal conditioners are suitable for laboratory and OEM applications. Each optical module is integrated inside a housing shell providing system protection and ease of integration. In addition, each module includes a RS-232 and RS-485 communication port as well as analog outputs (0V to 5V or 4 mA to 20 mA).
