Three phase bridge assemblies feature low thermal resistance for increased output current

Solid State Devices, Inc. announced their enhanced SDA312A - SDA312G and SDA312AF - SDA312GF series of three phase bridge assemblies. These bridge assemblies deliver 15 Amps of forward current and a maximum thermal resistance of 3.5 degrees Celsius, which equates to a 50 percent increase in output current and a 50 percent improvement in thermal resistance over their previous versions. The reliable ultraminiature packaging consists of glass passivated void free hermetically sealed discrete rectifiers in an electrically insulated aluminum case for high thermal conductivity. Both series feature a blocking voltage range of 50 to 1000 volts and a low reverse leakage current of 5 µA. The SDA312A - SDA312G series includes standard reverse recovery devices with a maximum rating of 5 µsec, and the SDA312AF - SDA312GF series are fast recovery devices with a maximum rating of 200 nsec.
